WEIGHTLIFTING COMPETITION
The men’s 1,000 lb. club and women’s 500 lb. club is having a lunch break weight lifting competition 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 16 at Olive Physical Fitness Center. It is open to all ID card holders. The top three male and top three female competitors will win prizes. Those wishing to participate can register at any PFC on post and must register before Nov. 15.

PICKLE-BALL
The Hopkinsville Division of Parks and Recreation will offer free pickle-ball 9-11 a.m. Mondays and 1-3 p.m. Wednesdays at Thomas Street Recreation Center, 2600 Thomas St., Hopkinsville. Pickle-ball is a fast-paced, entertaining mix of tennis, badminton, ping pong and racquetball. Bring ID to check out paddles and pickle-balls. TARGET ARCHERY
The Hopkinsville YMCA will conduct outdoor archery classes for ages 7-13. The classes will be Nov. 3, 10, 17 and Dec. 1, 8 and 15. Cost is $60 for members and $75 for non-members. YOUTH BASKETBALL
The City of Clarksville’s Parks & Recreation Department is offering an eight-week co-ed youth basketball league for boys and girls ages 7-15. Practice will be at local school gyms starting Nov. 1 and games will be held each Saturday starting Dec. 1 at the city’s three recreation centers. First time registrants must provide child’s birth certificate for age verification. Registration deadline is Sunday.
DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT
The Forever Young Dodgeball Tournament will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 3 at Kleeman Recreation Center, 166 Cunningham Lane, Clarksville. Teams of five will compete in this single-elimination tournament. YOUTH VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
Clarksville Parks and Recreation will host a youth volleyball league 5:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 7-March 22 at Kleeman Recreation Center, 166 Cunningham Lane, Clarksville. Grades 5-6 will meet Tuesdays. Grades 7-8 will meet Thursdays and grades 9-12 will meet Fridays. Cost is $65 per child, including a T-shirt and medal. Pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is Dec. 7.
