FLAG DAY RETIREMENT CEREMONY
The Montgomery County Veterans Service Organization, in conjunction with Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 457 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4895, will be conducting the annual Flag Day ceremony beginning at 10 a.m., June 14, at VFW Post 4895, 1701 Haynes St., Clarksville. The public is invited to attend.
The ceremony is held to properly destroy – by burning – worn, damaged or otherwise unserviceable American flags in a dignified and proper manner.
Damaged U.S. flags may be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Montgomery County Veterans Service Organization, 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 308, Clarksville, or at the VFW anytime during their business hours prior to the ceremony.

Through Aug. 8, Soldiers who are undergoing a permanent change of station can receive an Operation PCS Benefit Card, valid for $10 off a $100 purchase with their Military Star card at any Army and Air Force Exchange Service store or online at ShopMyExchange.com. The benefit card is valid for 90 days after the issue date, and there is no limit to the number of times it can be used.

ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY ELIGIBILITY SURVEY
The Army has been asked by Congress to consider what could be done to preserve Arlington National Cemetery as an active military cemetery well into the future for generations to come. Based on current eligibility standards, Arlington National Cemetery will run out of space in approximately 23 years and at that time will no longer be an active cemetery. Decision-makers seek feedback from stakeholders through a survey where they can share their opinions about eligibility for burial in Arlington National Cemetery. ATHOC REGISTRATION
Fort Campbell Emergency Operations Center’s AtHoc system delivers notifications via email, text, phone calls and social media about severe weather and other emergencies. EOC officials strongly encourage people to register for AtHoc to be alerted of emergency situations. In the Fort Campbell portal, located on the installations’ Intranet home page, users who have not yet registered with the AtHoc system will see a pop-up notification. Once the user clicks on the notification, a series of slides will be made available to walk the user through the registration process, ensuring that setup is quick, easy and accurate. While registration requires a CAC, Family members may also be added to the system by the CAC holder. Registration for the mass-notification system is a pertinent step in ensuring the safety of the entire installation.
SOCIAL MEDIA IMPERSONATION
The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command warns that scammers are claiming online to be U.S. Soldiers. Unbeknown to the Soldier, an online scammer uses the Soldier’s name and available social media photos to perpetrate a crime. Online scammers also are impersonating Army civilians and contractors. Scammer capitalize on the trustworthy reputation of individuals associated with the Army. By monitoring your social media identity, you can protect your Army Family and your reputation. S.A.F.E. CAMPAIGN
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office announces its fifth annual “Seat Belts Are For Everyone” campaign. This statewide initiative is designed to increase seatbelt and child passenger safety restrain usage through implementation of occupant-protection programs, public events and checkpoints throughout local communities across Tennessee. Even the strongest relationships have disagreements, but when emotions get high, effective communication stops and the ability to resolve conflict decreases. MONTHLY STEEL SHOOTING MATCH
Monthly steel shooting match is the first Saturday of each month at Range 16. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and a safety briefing at 9 a.m. The events are open to ages 13 and older.
