Today, we are recruiting tough, experienced tactical leaders from many military occupational specialities to serve as combat advisers in the Army’s newest expeditionary force, the Security Force Assistance Brigade.

If selected for this demanding assignment, you will have the opportunity to attend some of the Army’s best training courses, serve alongside other hand-picked Soldiers, and deploy to austere locations to train, advise and accompany foreign partner forces to achieve America’s foreign policy objectives with little supervision. In short, it is an opportunity to do what you signed up to do.

We challenge our commanders and first sergeants across XVIII Airborne Corps to talk to our Soldiers about this opportunity and encourage those with the right skills and aptitude to apply.

Having seen the impact of our combat advisers in Iraq and Syria, we can assure you this is the biggest, most complex and most important work the Army is doing today.

If you think you have what it takes, we encourage you to see your chain of command today.

Airborne, all the way.
