COMMANDER’S POSTER COMPETITION

The 2017 Commander’s Inaugural Graphic Arts Poster Competition is now accepting submissions. The theme is “Legacy of Heroism” celebrating the 101st Airborne Division’s 75th Anniversary. Submissions should represent values, history, legacy, military significance and the overall mission. Participants must present an image consistent with Army values, 101st Airborne Division’s theme and mission, including “I am a Screaming Eagle.” Participants must include contact information with submissions, including email, name and telephone number. Submission deadline is July 25. Email submissions to screamingeaglebirthday@gmail.com. Files must be 600 dpi, 25-by-36 inches in jpg, gif or png formats. Prizes will be presented by Maj. Gen. Andrew P. Poppas, commanding general of the 101st Airborne Division and Fort Campbell, and will include a coin and certificate of appreciation. The winning poster will be framed and displayed in division headquarters.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Vacation Bible School sponsored by the Fort Campbell Religious Support Office begins 9 a.m.- noon July 17 and continues through July 21 at Liberty Chapel, 3111 Bastogne Ave. VBS is for children Kindergarden-sixth grade. BLOOD DONATION OPPORTUNITIES

The American Red Cross has planned blood drives on Fort Campbell from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 18 at the Fort Campbell Commissary, 2606 Indiana Ave., and 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. July 19 at the 19th Air Support Operations Squadron, 7146 Market Garden. The Red Cross has donation appointments and the RapidPass online health history questionnaire available for donors to reduce the time it takes to complete a blood donation. 2017 SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM

Fort Campbell Schools Food Services is having summer feeding program. The program is free for any child 18 and younger and will be at Barsanti and Andre Lucas elementary schools from 8-9 a.m. for breakfast and 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. for lunch. FEDS FEED FAMILIES

Fort Campbell will host its annual Feds Feed Families food drive July 1-Sept. 30 with drop off boxes located at the main ACS building, Family Resource Center, Directorate of Family and MWR, Directorate of Public Works, the main housing office, the Child Development Centers, Robert F. Sink Memorial Library, the Education Center, the Safety Office, the Public Affairs Office, and other agencies. Feds Feed Families helps food banks and pantries stay stocked during summer months when they traditionally see a decrease in donations. EMPLOYMENT READINESS FOR TEENS

Fort Campbell Army Community Service Army Family Team Building hosts Army 101 to provide Family members new to the Army basics of Army knowledge at Army Community Service, 2601 Indiana Ave. The next classes are 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 15-16 and registration is required. This class will be taught in Spanish. Army 101 provides the basics of Army knowledge and gives the participant the tools to begin an informed, self-aware Army experience. TENNESSSEE TITANS TICKETS

Fort Campbell Leisure Travel Services in the Exhange Mall will begin selling tickets for the 2017 Tennessee Titans at 10 a.m. Aug. 3. Season tickets are $825 per seat and will be sold first. Any tickets that are left from the season pass sale will be sold as individual game tickets. The season pass sale will be on Aug. 3 only. No preregistration is necessary for season pass purchases. Individual game tickets will have a limited availability and will be sold on a first come first served basis beginning at 9 a.m. Aug 5. No preregistration is necessary for individual ticket purchases. Individual games tickets for pre-season will be $80 per seat and $80-$90 during the regular season depending on the game. RELATIONSHIP WORKSHOP

Fort Campbell Army Community Service Family Advocacy Program offers a Relationship 101 Workshop 9-11:30 a.m. or 1-3:30 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at ACS, 2601 Indiana Ave. The workshop equips participants with relationship skills that include techniques and resources for emotional self-regulation. Even the strongest relationships have disagreements, but when emotions get high, effective communication stops and the ability to resolve conflict decreases. DRIVER’S EDUCATION

Driver’s Education available for teens ages 15-17 hosted by SKIESUnlimited, 3411 Bastogne Ave. Monday-Thursday classes are offered July 17-20. Saturday classes are Saturday-July 22 and Aug. 5-26. All participants must be registered with Child and Youth Services prior to enrolling in class. Cost is $330 per student and includes a workbook, 30 hours of class time and six hours driving. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Fort Campbell Child and Youth Services Youth Sports needs volunteer coaches for children in pre-K through eighth grade. All volunteers receive free training and will be certified through the National Alliance of Youth Sports. All volunteers must complete a background check. GOLF CART CROSSING SAFETY

Fort Campbell Golf Cart Crossings are located along Robert C. Lee Road.  The warning signs, flashing lights and painted crossing, constitute official Fort Campbell traffic signals. Vehicles traveling on the road, must stop and allow the carts (and walking golfers) to cross safely.  Walkers and golf cart drivers should always push the button for the flashing lights and then watch to make sure vehicles are slowing or stopping.  Golf Cart Crossing Safety is the responsibility of everyone using Cole Park Golf Course and Robert C.
